This Privacy Policy describes how ÖZEL ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Lezo Craftworks Pvt. Ltd., an Indian private limited company, collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit shopozel.com (the "Site"), make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
• Order information — your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details when you place an order.
• Account information — details you provide when you create an account or sign in via Shop.
• Communications — messages you send us through our contact form, live chat, or email, including bespoke and customization requests.
• Marketing preferences — your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Reviews — your name and review content when you leave a product review.
Information collected automatically:
• Device information — browser type, IP address, time zone, device type, and some cookies installed on your device.
• Usage information — the pages and products you view, the sites or search terms that referred you to us, and how you interact with the Site.
We collect this automatically using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Payment information: Payments are processed by our payment providers (including Shopify Payments and Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our servers. Payment data is handled by these providers in accordance with their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS standards.

3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers:
• Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Site and stores order and customer data. You can read Shopify's privacy policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
• Payment processors — Shopify Payments and Stripe, to process transactions.
• Shipping and logistics partners — to deliver your order from our atelier in India to your address, including customs documentation where required.
• Advertising and analytics partners — Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Google Analytics), as described in Sections 5 and 6.
• Customer support tools — our live chat provider (Tidio), including AI-assisted responses to your questions.
• Review platform — Judge.me, to collect and display product reviews.
We may also disclose your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to lawful requests, or otherwise protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under certain US state privacy laws — see Section 7 for your opt-out rights.
4. International Data Transfers
We are based in India, and the Site serves customers in the United States and worldwide. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India, the United States, Canada, and other countries where our service providers operate. 6. Behavioural Advertising

For example, we use the Meta Pixel to show you ÖZEL products on Facebook and Instagram after you visit our Site, and we use Google Analytics to understand how customers find and use the Site. 7. Your US State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others), you may have the right to:

• Non-discrimination — not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Categories of personal information collected (last 12 months): identifiers (name, email, address, IP address), commercial information (orders, purchase history), internet activity (browsing behavior on the Site), and geolocation (approximate, derived from IP address). We collect these from you directly and automatically via the Site, use them for the purposes in Section 2, and share them with the service providers in Section 3.
8. Data Retention
When you place an order, we retain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
9. Security
We use Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure and industry-standard measures (including TLS encryption) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
